"NEXT 2.5" - aerobatic jet model

"NEXT 2.2" is one of the best aerobatic wooden jet model on the market and "NEXT 2.5" is bigger brother of proven design!!!

Unique model looks, especially suction openings, were first drawn in 3D program.

Every ply part of the model frame construction is laser cut.

Parts fit perfectly and modeler need minimum time to assemble "NEXT 2.5" wooden kit.

Also, the program calculates all structural loads and there is no fear that the model could break up in the air.

The frame construction is from a 3 mm poplar ply, and for sheeting we used 3 mm balsa.

Nose, leading edges of the wings & horizontal stabilizer, same like some other parts are 3D printed.

For "NEXT 2.5" there is no need for paper plans, the pieces fit like a Puzzle and you can not turn around or otherwise set up parts as they can.

Before bonding the parts assemble first whole part without glue.

This is important to see in which order parts are placed.

You must put aluminum tube in construction during wing & fuselage building!!!

span: 2500 mm / 98.4"

Length: 3020 mm / 118.9"

Weight: around 18 - 20 kg on take off

Turbine: from 160 - 200 N

Radio: minimum 6 channel

- Wooden kit - 765,00  Euro

- Aluminum wing joiner - 25,00 Euro

you must have wing joiner tube when made fuselage & wing for alignment!!!!!!!

- 3D printed "nose" - 15,00 Euro

- 3D printed parts (wings & elevator leading edges,  wing / fuselage curve,  wing tips)

for more information ask Martin

- Parts for canopy / fuselage connection (4 pieces) - 10,00 Euro

- Hinges & horns from G 10 material - 40,00 Eur

- Laser cut servo lid & holder - 10,00 Euro

Landing gear.

On "NEXT 2.2" web page,  you can find albums with photos which I make during building. Use it like guide because this models are copy / paste same.

With wooden kit we send PDF files of model parts, for easier assembling.

For easy building, we designed special templates for making fuselage, wings and horizontal stabilizer.

With them each part is placed in a precisely defined place and the workmanship is fast and very precise.

For gluing use white (carpenter) glue!!!

5 minute epoxy you need only when glue G10 hinges and horns in the position & 3D printed "nose" on front of the fuselage.

The complete model is coated with 80 - 100 gr glass fabric & epoxy resin.

It is important to note that the complete model is designed in a 3D program, structural strength is designed for far greater force than the load in flight.

"NEXT 2.5" is extremely strong, while the weight remained relatively small for this size acrobatic plane.

This is NOT 3D model!!!!!!!!!!
