"NEXT evoLutio"
"Mirce models" new aerobatic jet model, an enlarged variant of our extremely popular and, above all, great-flying model "NEXT"
Wingspan: 2750mm (108.30")
Fuselage: 3300mm (130")
Weight (planned) about 20 kg
Turbine: 200 - 250N
Landing gears: Electron E50
Radio: minimum 6 channel
Unique model looks, especially suction openings, were first drawn in 3D program.
Every ply part of the model frame construction is laser cut.
Parts fit perfectly and modeler need minimum time to assemble wooden kit.
Also, the program calculates all structural loads and there is no fear that the model could break up in the air.
But, this is NOT 3D jet model!!!
On the "NEXT evoLution" frame construction is from a 4 mm poplar ply, and for sheeting we used 3 mm balsa & 80 - 100 gr glass cloths.
The fuselage is designed to be disassembled into three parts (+ canopy), which makes transportation much easier.
The wings and horizontal stabilizer are also removable from the fuselage.
Nose is 3D printed.
"Mirce models" offer 3D printed leading edges for wings and horizontal stabilizer, same as wing, elevator and rudder tips which significantly shortens the production time. All this parts are optional.
For "NEXT" there is no need for paper plans, the pieces fit like a Puzzle and you can not turn around or otherwise set up parts as they can.
Before bonding the parts (for example, the wing), assemble first whole part without glue. This is important to see in which order parts are placed.
You must put aluminum tube in construction during wing & fuselage building!!!
- Wooden kit - 790,00 Euro
* We ship worldwidew
- Aluminum wing joiner - 30,00 Euro
* you must have wing joiner tube when made fuselage & wing for alignment!!!!!!!
- 3D printed "nose" - 20,00 Euro
- G 10 parts for canopy / fuselage connection (6 pieces) - 15,00 Euro
- Hinges & horns from G 10 material - 40,00 Eur
- Laser cut servo lid & holder - 10,00 Euro
Optional:
-3D printed all leading edges - 35,00 Euro
-3D printed wing, elevator and rudder tips - 40,00 Euro
For gluing use white (carpenter) glue!!!
5 minute epoxy you need only when glue G10 hinges and horns in the position & 3D printed "nose" on front of the fuselage.
The complete model is coated with 80 - 100 gr glass fabric & epoxy resin.
With wooden kit we send PDF files of model parts, for easier assembling.
Also, guide are many photos made during building first "NEXT" jet model.
It is important to note that the complete model is designed in a 3D program, structural strength is designed for far greater force than the load in flight.
THIS IS NOT 3D JET MODEL!!!
NEXT is extremely strong, while the weight remained relatively small for this size acrobatic plane.
Pictures below are from building of the smaller "NEXT" model, but "Next evoLution" building will be almost "copy - paste".
For easy building, we designed special templates for making wings and horizontal stabilizer.
With them each part is placed in a precisely defined place and the workmanship is fast and very precise.
Model is easy for transport, wing is from two pieces (wing joiner is 30 mm aluminum tube / 2 mm wall) and elevator is removable also.
Huge canopy allows easy installation of equipment.
Canopy with inlets is the most unusual part and gives the model a unique shape...
Bottom fuselage side is extremely attractive with smooth transitions from one form to another.
Few more details...
On 3D drawings was used Electron E50 landing gears with "legs" and wheels from the same company.

Gears & wheels dimensions will be available soon...
Drawing for CG. CG is little behind of the aluminum wing joiner.
3D printed "nose".
